Thanks to everyone who came out to the CD realease on October 22nd, it was a wonderful time and I was really touched to see so many folks there. We are grateful to have such a supportive community for traditional arts here in Minnesota. Thankfully, we did indeed have my solo CD there, it having been printed the afternoon of the 21st. That was a giant relief, but it wouldn't be a real CD release without a bit of consternation about whether a CD would actually be on the premises.... Thanks to JoAnne Boyer Smith who took these great photos of Shawn and I doing our thing.
Just in case the launch of our two first solo project CDs didn't promise enough excitement on my part, that evening saw the maiden voyage of one of my recently finished student harps. It did me proud. The lack of good, affordable wire harps for students has been a long time concern of mine, so I am pleased to announce another launch, this time of my building page. Coming soon!
